Development of the memory dumping tool has allowed for a deeper dive
into what makes the AUCTUS A6
tick. While it looks like a DMR radio on the outside, it might be a
cell phone on the inside.
Have a COTRE radio, but your serial cable won’t program it? Well build a cable to set up that radio!
Want to see what is going on inside your Auctus A6 based COTRE CO01D or other radio? This script lets you read the memory of your device.
The COTRE CO01D uses the Auctus A6 transceiver IC which can operate from 100MHz-1000MHz. It is possible to edit the codeplug to unlock this expanded range. A simple tool for unlocking is provided.
While the COTRE CO01D is a cheap DMR radio, programming it can have some hiccups. One of those is the programming cable.
